WHY BABY CAPSULE WARDROBE?

You don’t need as much as you may think!

Becoming a mom means rediscovering the meaning of the words love and joy. And yet, at the same time, the experience was overwhelming and unpredictable. For me, one of the most exciting parts about preparing for our newborn baby is getting to pick out some teeny tiny newborn clothes.

Babies grow really fast and most often don’t wear clothing out. You will find favorites that get a bit more laundering and usage, and some others can be untouched. Little ones sleep a lot in the early stages of growing too, which isn’t conducive to wardrove changes several times each day. 

Having had capsule wardrobes for the past few years, I know that this is something I want to do for my baby too. For me, there is no need to buy out of the store and overload the baby’s closet with too many clothes. 

So, what is a capsule wardrobe? 

“Capsule” means small and compact. The capsule wardrobe is a term to describe a set of clothing designed to be worn together, interchangeable, harmonized in style and color. The aim of the capsule wardrobe is to have an outfit suitable for any occasion without owning excessive items of clothing.

How does it work?

I am sure parents would love to dress their babies in Walt Disney or Elsa style. I would love that too. But after more messes, laundry cycles, and soggy shirts than I could count, I know I need something different for everyday life. I want more function with less frustration, more style without sacrificing comfort.

With a reasonable number of clothes that fit a baby’s everyday activities, to me, a capsule wardrobe can bring out a lot of benefits:

- Keeping things tidy and minimal, helps me to not become too overwhelmed and have more quality time.

- Save me from lots of shopping time and cost.

- Save laundry time

- Save the environment.

A darling capsule wardrobe can surely bring you more quality time with your baby.
